My wife went on a search to find a unique and special experience to celebrate my birthday at a destination close enough to St. Louis that we could reach it within a couple of hours. Her internet search revealed Rocky Comfort Cabins. Because of it's somewhat secluded location, we were advised to bring our own food and we're glad we did. The seclusion, disconnection, and isolation was absolutely what we both needed. The tranquil setting at The Hollow is quiet, cozy, peaceful and fully stocked with all we needed from the kitchen to the hot tub to the grill and fire pit. The Hobbit-themed decor adds a gorgeous splash of romance and mysticism to the ambiance of a fabulously relaxing cabin.

Our stay in The Hollow was lovely. So quiet and peaceful! We visited for our anniversary and enjoyed everything about it. The adorable Hobbit-themed cabin was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower has great pressure and there were plenty of large towels. We used the coffee maker but didn't do any cooking. It worked just fine. The hot tub was available, but we didn't use it. Thanks for a lovely stay, Nancy and Ed.

Nancy and Ed’s place is one of the most peaceful, relaxing stays we’ve ever had. The place is perfect and we walked to Blue Sky each evening to watch the sunset.

My husband and I have celebrated 2 anniversaries here. It is in a fantastic secluded area where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The houses are fully equipped with everything you could need including the kitchen. There are hot tubs which are so relaxing!  The fireplaces make the houses so cozy. Close to wineries!  The ultimate The Hobbit and The Lord Of the Rings themed getaway!  Don't pass this opportunity up!

This was our third stay at Rocky Comfort.  Our second in the Creole.  The cabin is cozy and the property is beautiful.
It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  It is quiet and peaceful.   Nobody bothers you and the owners (Ed and Nancy) are wonderful people who truly seem to care about their guests.
The furniture is beautiful and really fits with the "theme" of the cabin. The bed was excellent and we slept great.  Overall Rocky Comfort is an awesome place to visit.  We will definitely be back!
